A Secret Project
First, thanks to Brenda and JenfromRI for assuring me that marriage does NOT go downhill fast after 5 years. I'm sure the hubby will be reassured to hear that. Second, I have to say thanks to my readers for not disappearing these past few months. I feel it only fair to admit that the blogging has become less frequent and the knitting projects have not made much progress. Sure, everyone's been polite and not brought it up, but that's just a testament to what a nice group you all are.
I do have a confession to make. I have been working on a secret project that has not been listed in my WIPs. It's a fairly complicated sort of a project, so it has been taking up a lot of my time and energy. Frankly, this is the most consuming project I've ever worked on, but I'm hoping it will be my best yet.
Yep, that's exactly what it looks like. We're having a baby! (And you thought all those hats and blankets were for other people!) :)

You fooled me!
A BIG congratulations to you and your husband. I've never seen an ultrasound that looks so much like a baby before! Mine always looked kind of creepy . . .
Wow! 0_O;
Good on you, I reckon! You'll be making loads of baby stuff, I guess? Make the Juliet Cardigan with long sleeves, I'm show it will accomodate the bump! *pokes you, because I shan't do it, I just shan't!*
Congratulations, JayJay! How wonderful! When are you due?
Gosh, what a cute baby already! Let's catch up soon.
Congrats again!!
Awwww...so cute! This baby better not be allergic to yarn.....I think it will be covered head to toe in hand-knitted goodies!
CONGRATULATIONS!
You're knitting an afghan with some sort of ultrasound intarsia design? Weird.
Just kidding! CONGRATULATIONS! How smart to have started cranking out that kiddo stuff ahead of time.
Very, very exciting news. I'm sure you'll get a perfect FO.
Hi!
I realize I haven't been in touch in awhile, but I read your blog regularly. Congratulations on everything! The townhouse, the anniversary, and THE BABY!!!! This will definitely be your best project ever :) Even though it's a craft blog, I hope you'll keep us up to date on all of these projects!
-Katherine (White. From Brown. It's been so long, I thought I'd better help you out a little. And I am one of the only people in the universe without a blogger identity.)
Congratulations! I can see the fingers, toes, knee, nose, everything...all that little person... Yay! This is definately your best WIP ever!
Congratulations JayJay! Can't wait to knit something small for the little peanut :)
I've been behind on blog reading. Congrats on your little one!
